Hi, I'm Saltuk

I'm Saltuk Buğra Karacan, an AI, Automation & Data Consultant based in Munich, Germany. I help businesses become more efficient with AI - I take repetitive work off the company, bring scattered data into one reliable place, and help them decide with numbers instead of guesses.

I hold an MSc in Computer Science (Informatics) from the Technical University of Munich, where my thesis measured the reliability of Large Language Models in safety-critical engineering processes. Before going freelance I worked in AI research and engineering, and in data engineering.

Every engagement starts with a conversation, not a template. I understand how your business actually runs and find the source of wasted time and money. Then I recommend what you should do - in plain language, with a clear order of priorities.

I work in short, visible steps: starting from a written brief, I deliver a first working version you can try on real work. I then apply the changes you want and complete the final handover, with your team trained and a short manual. You see a tangible result at each stage, and the system keeps running even when someone is on leave. It doesn't depend on a single person.

I work best with owners and teams who feel the drag of manual, repetitive work - the same Excel rebuilt every month, quotes and invoices that eat hours, customer questions answered by hand over and over, or data scattered across spreadsheets, inboxes, and separate tools.

You don't need to know where to start or have any AI experience. Often the most valuable part is simply talking it through: I ask hard questions, point out where the real waste is, and help you prioritise the change that pays back fastest.

And if AI or automation won't genuinely help your situation, I'll tell you plainly. Selling you something that doesn't move the needle wastes both our time.

I'm industry-agnostic. Automation, data engineering, and AI transfer across sectors, and ramping up on how a new business runs is part of what I do well.

If your sector isn't on this list, that's not a blocker. Most projects succeed or fail on data, evaluation, and clear problem framing, not domain familiarity. I ramp up fast.
